The Meyerson Symphony Center is home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1900. The center was designed by the Chinese-born architect IM Pei, known in our country for designing the Louvre Pyramid in Paris. The center opened its doors in 1989 and has been hosting the biggest classical music concerts in Texas ever since. Moreover, you can get tickets for very cheap compared to European prices. We highly recommend the ballet Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky, or concerts by Beethoven and Brahms.
