LUCKENBACH

Luckenbach is an old-fashioned hamlet. Founded in 1849 as a trading post, it is still a timeless place today. There is an old dancehall, a bar and a grocery store in addition to 2-3 wooden houses. The place is especially famous for its musicians who come at any time of the day to strum their guitars and play a few notes of country or blues. We sit there, in the shade of the old oaks, we watch the free-range chickens being flirted with by the roosters and we sip a cold beer.
