David Adickes is an artist born in Huntsville, Texas. Known as a modern sculptor and painter, he was even a student of Fernand Léger! His most famous work is Big Sam, a giant 20-metre statue of Sam Houston, erected in Huntsville. In Houston, you can visit his studio and see other famous faces, more than life-size! Obama, the Beatles, Benjamin Franklin, 43 busts illustrating portraits of American presidents. A sort of pop art sculpture collection.
