Houston monument with clock associated with an old bell, moved to Market Square
This is a monument created from scratch to enhance the clock designed over a century ago for City Hall, which was later moved to Market Square. The clock is now associated with an old bell, once owned by Houston's3rd City Hall. Originally commissioned in 1904, the clock ended up in storage in 1960, where it was forgotten, sold, or stolen. Found in 1988 in an amusement park, it was returned to the City of Houston.
