BLACK BAYOU LAKE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

This refuge is a favorite for fishermen, hunters and nature lovers. You can rent boats to explore this magnificent bayou or pick up a map at the visitor center and go hiking in the area to get closer to the majestic cypress trees and the inhabitants of the bayou, especially the birds that are numerous here. Please note that it is not possible to stay overnight.
