Tributes to great Louisiana sportsmen and women or those who have contributed to the successes and achievements of local clubs in Natchitoches
You may know Shaquille O'Neal? Maybe not so much Audrey "Mickey" Patterson. Both are from Louisiana: the first is a great basketball player with a colossal physique, the second is a New Orleanian, the first African-American woman to bring home a medal at the 1948 Olympic Games in London (200-meter hurdles). As the name suggests, this is the place where tributes are paid to great Louisiana athletes or those who have contributed to the successes and achievements of local clubs.
