Nice place the name of this place is hilarious to pronounce. I guess it had nice rooms and breakfast but I dont really like Louisiana stay in Texas it’s way nicer. Not the best TV selection.
Very nice hotel, very clean room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was not fancy but really good. Close to the college. You have to pay attention to the turn in as the road isn't marked at all.
Not family or kids friendly. Traveled with family. Get complained about for “excessive noise” even as we were checking in the room and forced to sign a “warning” with severe repercussions piece of paper by attendant! Attendant blatantly lied about no manager available for site which was refuted by another later by the entry counter.
Truly wish for these stubborn, dishonest sentries to truly experience “excessive noise”!
Very limited breakfast options for vegetarians.
Just glad we booked only for a night and got out at earliest opportunity.
I always notice large number of work trucks in the parking lots of the Holiday Inn Express' late at night. The rooms have the same simple cumphy lay-out with microwave, coffee, frig, and lots of USB and 120V power plugs. Wi-Fi is zippy and easy to connect.
Was passing through and was tired, I have IHG points, so I decided we to stop in and rest for the night. This is not what I’m used to from an IHG hotel. I live in hotels 10 months out of the year. Swapping properties every 3 weeks. So I’ve been in my share of hotel. In fact I’m using my points to pay for this night. I would be pissed if I had to pay cash for it. This one is in dire need of a remodel. And I’m not talking about slapping a coat of paint on. The room had stained carpets. Window had not been cleaned in forever, and Someone wrote “wash me” in the dirt. I wish they had put a date. Bathroom was bad. Tiles discolored around the bathtub, gunk and grime all over tub, sediments on shower head, rusted door hinges. I think I was dirtier after I went in to clean up. Water pressure was horrible. I skipped breakfast because there was nothing to eat. No milk for cereal, no pancakes, no cream cheese for beagle, the white gravy was brown it was so old. There was something with eggs in it, but I could not even tell what it was supposed to be. No cinnamon rolls. Good thing IHOP is very close. There are literally 4 other, cheaper hotels in the parking lot of this one. I will say the staff was very friendly, that’s why this is a 2 star rating.
