Morgan City is celebrating its two major industries of shrimp and oil with five days of festivities.

On the long weekend of Labor Day, Morgan City holds its big festival dedicated to two major industries, shrimp and oil. Here we pay tribute to the employees who work day and night, rain or shine, to help the region's economy. The activities are non-stop for five days: blessing of the boats, street parade, musical shows, rides, children's village, fireworks on Berwick Bay, etc.
