Registered in the National Register of Historic Monuments, the 1920 building first housed a cinema where silent films of the vaudeville genre were shown. It was reopened in 1924 and expanded to become the New Liberty Center. It is now Cajun Saturday. An all-floor 530-seat concert hall where traditional or more modern music groups such as zydeco perform every Saturday, broadcast live on television and radio on the Rendez-vous des Cajuns show. A treat, it's hot, it's dancing, it's a crazy atmosphere!
