ACADIANA CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Located in the heart of downtown, this cultural complex features galleries, artists in residence, and a 300-seat theater that hosts musical performances ranging from classical to zydeco, theater, dance, and more. One project to watch for is the opening of the Louisiana Music Museum in the adjacent historic Lafayette Hardware Store. More than a museum dedicated to Cajun and Creole music, it would also host a dance hall open to all.
