The Slidell Heritage Festival is an official celebration held annually in Slidell, Louisiana. This family-friendly event is held at Heritage Park and features a day of fun with vendor booths, food trucks and drinks for purchase. A musical program is planned, followed by a magnificent fireworks display and more music. The festival aims to raise funds for local charities. Thanks to the participation of sponsors, vendors, visitors and beneficiary associations, the Slidell Heritage Festival has already raised over a million dollars to support local causes. The festival's organizing committee manages all aspects of the event, from vendors to music to general logistics. Festival presenters include the Rotary Club of Slidell, the Rotary Club of Slidell Northshore, The New Orleans Advocate/St Tammany Farmer and the City of Slidell.
