Museum featuring a vestige of the German defensive system, with photographs, figurines, and a view of Utah Beach
This new museum is well worth a visit (we were able to do so before it opened). An innovative scenography takes you through the major stages of the conflict: on 1,000 m² of exhibition space, along a 1940s street with stores and vehicles, the whole is presented in three phases: the German invasion and the soldiers’ way of life, civilian life under the Occupation and the Liberation. A real piece of the "Atlantic Wall" can be admired here. The current exhibition is dedicated to the 1936 Olympic Games. The site has been awarded the "Cultural Olympiad" label.

An excellent exhibition. The sheer scale of D Day is captured in the individual stories. Very impressive display.
