KONGOU FALLS

Located in the north of the park, it is a series of waterfalls that stretch over about 3.5 km in width forming a magnificent theatre. With an average flow of 900^m3 per second, this majestic cataract is known to be one of the most powerful in the world and also the most beautiful in Central Africa. The falls are also impressive for their heights reaching up to 56 meters! They form a wonderful spectacle and bring to the camp of Kongou a certain sweetness punctuated by the singing noise of the falling waters of the Ivindo.
