Camp located north of Ivindo National Park, about 34 km from the IRET research station at Ipassa Makokou
Located in the north of Ivindo National Park, about 34 km from the IRET research station at Ipassa Makokou, Kongou camp, managed by Loa Loa village, FIGET and Right Routes, is in a forest-dominated environment near the Kongou Falls and, more specifically, near one of the gorges of the falls. The camp is lit by a hurricane lamp and there is no hot water. It is composed of several platforms that serve as bedrooms. Meals at the camp are based on African specialties and/or Western cuisine.
