Travel Guide Alembé

This is the last village before turning right over the bridge towards Lopé, or continuing straight on towards Lalara, to the north, by a road that leads to Woleu-Ntem, on the border with Cameroon. In the region, beautiful hilly savannah landscapes are somewhat reminiscent of the Batéké Plateau region, with very green areas around the rivers. In places, the road follows the banks of the Ogooué. One leaves the province of Moyen-Ogooué to enter the province of Woleu-Ntem by taking the road north before Lalara; or in the province of Ogooué-Ivindo, at the village of Junkville in the direction of Franceville.
