Islet a short distance from Puerto Villamil, home to penguins, marine iguanas and, of course, sea lions
A short distance from Puerto Villamil, accessible by kayak for example, is this islet so called because of the Galapagos sharks that live in its waters and that are called here the Tintoreras. The water is so clear that it sometimes seems as if the sharks passing by are flying rather than swimming! You can also see penguins, marine iguanas and of course, the omnipresent sea lions. It is possible to go there by boat and to do scuba diving (delimited area)

Cette zone est très connue pour sa présence de manchots, mais nous n'en avons pas vu. Il faut dire qu'ils ne font que 30 cm, alors nous sommes peut être passés à côté.
