PLAYA ESPUMILLA

North of James Bay, Espumilla Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It is lined with mangroves where many birds, ducks, wading birds and flamingos take refuge. This beach is home to many marine iguanas that bask in the sun. If you put your head under the water, you will discover a pretty site of aquatic walk where you can cross sharks, rays and octopuses. A path leads to a hill, past a bright green lagoon. You can observe many finches, but also the very colorful tyrants (passerines).
