Wiracocha - el Centro Integral de Alpacas - is a tourist centre that carries out several activities: alpaca farming, agro-ecological farm, culture of traditional medicinal plants, mountain biking routes, Watchtowers volcanoes, Illinizas and Chimborazo. In addition, this centre gives English courses and basic information technology to children in surrounding rural communities.
What do they propose ? Support for children in rural schools in Pujilí, teaching of computers and English, but also retraining work, re-forestation, environmental education.
Where ? Ecuador.
Profile and conditions. You must be major, speak Spanish or English, and stay at least 8 months. You will be asked for € 150 per month for full boarding and transportation. It is advisable to have knowledge of project management with children and a clear interest in ecology.
