MUSEO DE LAS CULTURAS

The Museum of Cotacachi Culture is located in the heart of the historic center of the city and presents a very interesting panorama of the city's history and local traditions. It displays traditional espadrilles, basketry, copper objects and leather pieces, which are still a speciality of the town. Portraits of famous people, including religious figures, are presented on the first floor. Some areas are also devoted to music and local artists, not forgetting traditional costumes.
