The botanical garden is an oasis of greenery that extends over nearly 18,000 m². It offers routes to discover species of trees, plants and flowers representative of the floral diversity of the Sierra. The Botanical Garden of Quito is working hard to become a leading, efficient and recognized organization in the management of the plant heritage of the Ecuadorian Andes. As a bonus, the botanical garden houses a collection of more than 850 species of orchids in a beautiful tropical greenhouse that will delight orchid lovers.
