MARCHÉ

Cobán has a permanent market at the back of the cathedral. Covered, its entrance is done by 2 a avenida. Refuelled by the peasants of the surrounding villages, there are fresh products, but also shops of crafts, clothing and pottery. Craft merchants also settled under the "portal" (arcades) of the Parque Central. They sell silver jewelry made in the region, as well as others whose particularity is to lock a microscopic orchid within a medallion or an ear loop.
