LA NARIZ DEL INDIO

This rock formation to the north of San Juan La Laguna is the ideal spot to watch the sun rise over the lake. Due to the number of reported assaults, it is strongly recommended to use an agency. From San Pedro, a shuttle picks up participants at their accommodation at around 3:30 am. After an hour's drive, they begin a 25-30 minute hike along a steep, very steep path. Arriving at the mirador at around 5 a.m., they watch the sky fill with a gradation of colors ranging from pink to orange. Absolutely unmissable!
