PINTANDO SANTA CATARINA PALOPÓ
Go there and contact
Project aimed at attracting tourists by painting houses like the traditional outfits and huipils of local women.
Born in the late 2010s, this project was inspired by the huipils of the commune's inhabitants: more than 850 houses have been painted in their image. Adorned with geometric patterns, most of the walls are blue, while the roofs are red or white, like the old traditional dress. The goal is to attract more tourists in order to generate a positive social and economic impact for the villagers, while including them fully in the initiative.
