Once inside, you can sit in the large and warm room or outside on the beautiful patio with a beautiful fountain in the center, which you can also enjoy from the terrace upstairs. Nice and bright room, framed by old doors that give it a certain charm. You only have to read the menu and look at the neighboring tables to realize that you are in a tourist's den... But it doesn't matter: this doesn't take anything away from the quality of the dishes, nor from the care given to their presentation. From pancakes to bagels toavocado toast to granola, the breakfasts are as westernized as they are delicious. Delicious vegetarian cuisine, with many vegan and gluten-free options. The menu offers original dishes such as zucchini rolls with vegan mozzarella sauce, kimchi - a Korean dish made from chilies and lacto-fermented vegetables - served with rice and quinoa, all seasoned with ginger juice and curry. One of the specialties is the Samsara plate, which consists of quinoa croquettes, hummus, eggplant and kale puree with tofu. Excellent value for money!

We don't come especially for the quality of the welcome, but for the tasty vegan food at low prices. If the establishment offers burgers, tacos and toasts, it has specialized in bowls. Two options: order one already on the menu, or make your own using quinoa, basmati rice or vegetable pasta. You then add a protein source - tempeh, tofu or mushrooms - a sauce - yellow curry, peanut, tahini or pesto - and a topping. Note that the atmosphere is more appropriate for lunch than dinner.

The main room of this famous steakhouse has beautiful brick vaults and a beautiful bar. Specialties include American Wagyu beef, which only a handful of restaurants offer in Guatemala, and the Puyazo Rey, a ribeye "tenderized " over a low fire for 12 hours. Beware: many dishes are only shared by two or four people, like the sublime land and sea barbecue, consisting of 910 grams of beef and 12 shrimp. Carefully crafted desserts, like the dark chocolate brownie. A very trendy place, ideal for dinner.
