Beautiful waterfalls located a few minutes walk south of the village of Montezuma, with a cliff ideal for diving
In addition to Montezuma's small beaches, you can frolic in the freshwater of a natural pool fed by superb waterfalls, a 20-minute walk south of the village (no guide needed, but you'll certainly be asked). There's also a cliff for diving. To get there, walk past the Hotel La Cascada and follow the river for 500 m upstream of the bridge that spans it. There are over 100 waterfalls in the area, covering a 20 km radius. Beware, the walk is not easy and signs regularly warn of the dangers...
