Sloth refuge in Aviorios Del Caribe offering a canoe trip with a guide to see the wonders of the park.
Founded by Judy and Luís (who passed away in 2011), this renowned refuge takes in orphaned and doomed baby sloths brought to them by local people. Judy, her grandson and scientists care for them, feed them and study their way of life. The residents are adorable, and we learn a lot more about these little mammals! Proceeds from visits help maintain the refuge. Sloth lovers can stay in the adjoining bed & breakfast.

this sloth sanctury is a jail for sloth , just sloth in cage verry sad you can see , she make his money with tourist the price for 1 entrence 1 hour is 40 us for see sloth in the cage

Magnificent sanctuary, the animals are well treated and visit it is very interesting to learn more about the lazy. We went there early in the morning and could return in the enclosures lazy to stroke it was an unforgettable experience.
