FRANÇOIS PLATZ ET FILS
The estate has been cultivating the vines in accordance with the rules of organic farming since 2004, with manual harvesting. It has plots on sites with a varied geology: Rotenberg in Bergheim, limestone soil that produces elegant wines; Goldesch in Bergheim, marl and limestone soil, and on the Altenberg Grand Cru in Bergheim, red marl and limestone, very stony, for wines with a very beautiful aromatic expression and Sonnenglanz, marl and limestone, very stony, with a southeast exposure, for wines with ripe and fine aromas. The estate produces all Alsatian grape varieties, with the exception of Muscat. The winegrowers also offer Edelzwicker, including a Prestige cuvée enriched with noble grape varieties, crémants-d'alsace, Late Harvest of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer, which can also be found in Sélection de Grains Nobles
