Of the 14 churches in Camagüey, it is undoubtedly the most interesting for its history and architecture. Neo-Gothic in style, it blends Catalan inspiration for the vaults, German craftsmanship for the original stained glass windows (some of which are beginning to be seriously damaged) and the magnificence of Italian marble for the altar and pulpit. Built in the 1820s, and just restored, it offers a breathtaking view from the top of the tower.
