SITIO GUAIMARO

Former property of a rich sugar merchant in the nineteenth century, Don Mariano Borrell. The big house is sublime and well preserved. The furniture is authentic and you can still see the original paintings on the walls. The property had 360 slaves and 18 servants at the time, which gives an idea of the huge business that this estate represented. The extent of the business can be appreciated from the back of the house. From there, the owner could supervise the work of his slaves in the plantation.
