This theatre is emblematic of Siem Reap, since it is here that the Angkor sacred dancers' troupe performs, revisiting the sacred and long-forgotten art of the Apsaras. Acclaimed throughout the world, this troupe plays paintings of the two great texts of Hinduism, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, twice a week, whose most famous scenes are reproduced on almost all the temples of Angkor.
