Specializing in creative local cuisine, this restaurant offers traditional dishes( fishamok, red ant stir fry, wild mushroom and sesame rice balls, lotus seed humus...) made with 95% locally sourced ingredients. Also a training restaurant that integrates marginalized youth and adults, Marum is managed by the students and their teachers, who train them in cooking and service and help them find a job at the end of their training. Nice setting and impeccable service.

The owner of this small restaurant is Khmer, but has lived for many years in Thailand. As a result, her Thai dishes are as successful as her Cambodian ones! The restaurant is open on the street, but slightly set back, protected by a plethora of exotic plants. The decoration is simple but neat, with wood and bamboo tones. The kitchen as well as the service are family oriented, the smile is permanent and the chat in English - and a little bit in French - makes the experience very pleasant. We warmly recommend it!

This restaurant is located in the street that borders the old market, on the opposite side of the river. The dining room occupies the space of several stores joined together. The lighting is subdued and the atmosphere is festive in the evening, quieter at lunchtime and with lower prices. Beautiful photos of the region on the wall (for sale). Traditional Khmer cuisine for the most part, without much originality but very well done. Kindness sometimes a little shy of the reception and fast service. Perfect for a bite to eat around Pub Street.

It is a subtly decorated gem of restaurant, hidden just a stone's throw from the «rue de la soif». We feel at home right away in this intimate, bourgeois bourgeois house asia (Serge has lived for a long time in Vietnam). The speciality of the site is therefore amok, with five versions to be discovered separately or in tasting formula. Very good address.

The owners of Maison 557 Hotel, Joan and Gauthier, have partnered with Chef Mengly to create this restaurant that aims to introduce the flavors of Cambodian family cuisine to their guests, but also to reconcile the urbanites of Siem Reap with the dishes of their parents and grandparents. By adding Mengly's touch, these traditional dishes are brought up to date. The terrace is pleasant, on one of the main streets, yet quiet. Note the recent opening of a Salmon Shop just next door by the same acolytes.
