Boothbay Harbor ocean view hiking trail suggesting an invigorating walk on an approximately one mile loop

Following Highway 96 south past East Boothbay, you will reach Ocean Point. The view of the untamed ocean and Green Island awaits you. We recommend that you follow the hiking trail along the coast, weather permitting. The Norman Van Horn Trail loops about 1.5 kilometers inland and along the ocean. This trail will allow you to enjoy an invigorating walk loaded with sea spray. A little further north, you can discover Tibetts Pond, a pond teeming with birds.
