The airport is 7 miles southwest of the city, about 25 minutes by train or by car from downtown.
To reach the city center from the airport:
By train. The Airport Line line in SEPTA leaves every 25 minutes, from 5 a. m. to midnight. It takes about 25 minutes to get from the terminal to the city center. Count 8 USD, the ticket is purchased on board the train, cash (possibility to buy it ahead of the Internet for US $ 6.75). There are 5 stops in Philadelphia: University City, 30 th Street Station (take a taxi later because these two stations are a little eccentric) and, in downtown, Suburban Station, Jefferson Station (historic district) and Temple University.
By taxi. Count between US $ 30 and US $ 35 to downtown Philly. (Center City, Downtown).
