One of the largest lakes in Burkina Faso, artificially created in 1994 by the installation of the dam. On the banks of the reservoir lies a 3 km long beach with coconut trees! An ecotourism centre offered overnight bungalows, this project was stopped in 2014, and had not yet reopened at the time of our investigation. A pleasant excursion.
