By entering the south-west entrance of Crater Lake Park, at the village level of Crater Lake, GOLD 62 will be followed south. The landscape is superb, especially in autumn, when trees take thousand shades of red and orange.

The road runs through Upper Klamath Lake, one of the larger lakes in southern Oregon (48 km long over 18 km wide). It is located in the heart of the Klamath County, a region with over lakes, rivers and mountains. A true paradise for lovers of water sports, hiking and skiing.
