A wonderful discovery is this little establishment, right in the heart of the small village of Montbray. The Café des Mets, expertly run by Florentine, is the kind of place you'd expect to find: a bar all day, as well as a newsagent and bread store. At lunchtime, you can enjoy tasty dishes made on the spot, with a menu renewed every day, all of which is simple and above all of excellent quality. It's a great value for money, and the atmosphere is excellent: a real bargain in the heart of the bocage.
