Leavenworth is the youngest wine region in Washington State. Many establishments in Leavenworth organize wine tastings. There are around vineyards, whose production is considered more complex and deep than most of the state wines. The special climate of Leavenworth, a lot of sunshine in the daytime and very cold nights, is the origin of this complexity, rare in young vineyards.
