L'Awabi is one of the best addresses, if not the best, for Japanese food on the island of Jersey. This small, cosy room sends you to the Land of the Rising Sun, with its minimalist decor and a menu of (very) well thought-out Japanese specialities, devised by the self-taught and very talented chef Stephen. Le Soy is one of the best places to eat Japanese food in the Channel Islands. The chef takes the great classics of Japanese menus and adds a few well-considered inspirations, between fusion cuisine, good seafood ideas and poke bowls. To make matters worse, the setting is really very pleasant, the decor is always tasteful and there's a large (heated) terrace for those nice days when it doesn't rain.
