Opened in 1962 in Fortress Korela, the museum recounts the history of the city and its fortress, which also served as prison for prisoners of state. Members of the Impostor impostor family, as well as some Décembristes, were detained. Also exhibition of regional archaeological discoveries, collections of th century coins and coins.
