Created on 20 April 1998 in the private mansion on Bolshaya Morskaya Street which belonged to the Nabokov family, this museum is a journey into the world of the writer exiled in France. Sketches, photos and archival documents tell the story of the house (dating from the first half of the 18th century) and its owners. The bedroom of the writer's parents is reconstituted as they must have left it when the People's Commissars came to get them.
