Verdant Works is an industrial museum that recounts Dundee's commercial past in jute cloth. On a restored former production site, you can see the machines at work, and interactive installations give you a closer look at this manufacturing world. Raw materials are presented before they are transformed, and the overall overview of the process is highly entertaining. The approach is also human, with testimonials from workers, their aspirations and working conditions. There are also temporary exhibitions all year round.

à voir absolument
voir et entendre fonctionner ces machines modèles réduits de celles de la grande époque de la toile de jute est très intéressant, les explications fournies par des passionnés sont très variées et ce musée explore l'aspect industriel mais aussi l'aspect social et les conséquences de cette industrie sur Dundee . une belle découverte. prévoir une bonne demie journée
