This important cultural center boasts a rather prestigious collection of paintings from the 19th century (Pre-Raphaelites, English and Scottish painters) and the 20th century. It has a fabulous collection of fine art, but not only. You'll also see a 15,000-piece collection of decorative arts, covering every facet of this art form. It also features the city's maritime and industrial history, an archaeology collection and a numismatic collection. Its renovation was completed in 2017, giving it a successful transformation.
