The road alone is worth the trip and should whet your appetite, with its beautiful views of the Kyle of Tongue and the mountains. The Craggan hotel works with excellent local cuisine, with meats such as pigeon, beef, pork, duck and chicken, but also salmon, haddock, scallops and vegetarian dishes. There are sandwiches and ciabattas for lunch for a quicker meal. The room is pretty and the service is excellent.
