TOBERMORY DISTILLERY

Founded in 1798, the Mull distillery watches over the small port of Tobermory and has given it its letters of nobility all over the world. In spite of 41 years of inactivity due to the American prohibition and several changes of owners, the distillery is today in good shape and faithful to its heritage. The visit lasts 45 minutes and ends with a tasting of the 10 year old Tobermory, subtle and maritime, lightly smoked thanks to the water of the island lochs. The 10 year old Ledaig offers a completely different face, peaty and more full-bodied. Tobermory now also has its gin.
