VIA VERDE DEL BIDASOA

It is a 42-kilometre route linking the municipality of Behobie to that of Legasa. Along the Bidasoa River (which downstream serves as a route for the French-Spanish border), this greenway was built on the old route of the Txikito train, which linked Elizondo with Irún until the 1950s. Today it is a pleasant walk for hikers and cyclists. On the Sunbilla section, be careful of cattle passing by and watch out for traffic. There are many farms along the way. A very nice walk!
