REGIONAL MUSEUM

In the 17 rooms of this impressive museum there is an exhibition on the local fauna and flora, from the White Sea to the Barents Sea. Then an interesting part devoted to the Nordic expeditions, the foundation of Murmansk and an exhibition of weapons and photos of local heroes. Finally, an important section of the museum, the oldest in the region, presents the Sami way of life.

Attention, the main premises of the museum on Lenin Street are under construction until the end of 2020, and a very condensed version of its exhibitions is located on Pavlova Street.
