LENIN NUCLEAR ICEBREAKER

An unmistakable Murmansk landmark, even though the Lenin can only be visited since its conversion to a museum in 2005. When she was built in 1957, she was the world's first civilian nuclear-powered ship. It paved the way for Russian ships in northern waters until its decommissioning in 1989. On board, it's a real trip back in time: all the interiors (including the impressive engine room) have been preserved in their 1950s condition and are in perfect condition.
