The very amusing and popular museum exhibits objects related to the daily life of the 1900s. A section dedicated to arts and crafts presents, among other things, watchmaking and goldsmithing tools.
Upstairs are landscape paintings and genre scenes that describe the lives of farmers and fishermen in the Aberystwyth and Cardigan Bay areas. The Bowen Gallery is dedicated to the archaeology and geological formations of Cardigan Bay. Objects from excavations in the region are also on display, dating back to the Neolithic period.
