Petit Futé's opinion on NATIONAL LIBRARY OF WALES

An inevitable visit to the National Library of Wales for all those interested in the country's history. The oldest Welsh manuscript, the Black Book of Carmarthen, is on display. In addition, the library also has the only copy of the first book printed in Welsh, Yn y lhyvyr hwnn, dating from 1546. As you will have understood, it is home to an invaluable heritage of treasures from Welsh and Celtic literature.
