GRAND THEATRE

This renowned theater opened in July 1897, designed by Newcastle architect William Hope. It has two stages: the larger one is reserved for light plays and regularly hosts the Welsh National Opera. The other, smaller stage can accommodate up to 100 people, and is a place for artists to express themselves on their own terms.
